Our founder, Chaitali, has always found art in unexpected places.

In the wild curve of a tree. A weathered wall on a street she may never find again. The light inside an old building. A piece discovered while travelling. A form, a texture, a detail most people might walk past. She has always believed that art is everywhere.

And that the things we remember are rarely just beautiful. They carry something more. A story. A feeling. A soul. Jewellery, for her, belonged to that same world.

She was drawn to pieces with character. Unusual forms. Unexpected details. Things that made her pause, look again, ask questions. Pieces that felt found rather than simply bought.

But too often, jewellery seemed to fall into familiar worlds. Precious pieces saved for significant occasions. Designer pieces beautiful enough to covet, but not always easy to collect. And fashion jewellery made for the moment, then quickly forgotten.

What she longed for was something in between. Jewellery with the imagination of art. The intimacy of something personal. And the freedom to be worn through a real life. That longing became Zephyr.
